Partner Jennifer Wu spoke on a panel about the AAPI community’s response to rising anti-Asian hostility at the Committee of 100’s Annual Conference & Gala on April 19, 2024. Jennifer and other community leaders and panelists Edgar Chen, Special Policy Advisor to the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association; Frank Wu, President of Queens College; Jeremy Wu, Founder of APA Justice; and Cindy Tsai, Interim President and General Counsel of the Committee of 100 shared their experiences, discussed steps the AAPI community and its allies have taken to address discrimination, and explored future strategies to confront these challenges. 

Jennifer is a fierce advocate for underrepresented communities and a frequent speaker on diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2023, she testified before the United States Commission on Civil Rights at a hearing regarding the federal government’s response to anti-Asian racism in the U.S. Jennifer is also a member of the AABANY’s Anti-Asian Violence Task Force and was recently elected to the organization’s board of directors.
