Partner Jennifer Wu spoke on a panel titled “Community Leaders: Stories of Hope & Resilience” at an Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month event hosted by JPMorgan Chase & Co. on May 10, 2024. Jennifer shared her experiences as a community leader alongside Preeti Sriratana, Partner & Managing Director at Modellus Novus. Vivian Young, Global Head of Asian & Pacific Islander Affairs at JPMorgan, moderated the panel.
Jennifer is a fierce advocate for underrepresented communities and a frequent speaker on diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2023, she testified before the United States Commission on Civil Rights at a hearing regarding the federal government’s response to anti-Asian racism in the U.S. Jennifer is also a member of the AABANY’s Anti-Asian Violence Task Force and was recently elected to the organization’s board of directors. She received the Pro Bono Service Award from NAPABA in 2023 and the New York Law Journal’s Diversity Initiative Award in 2022 in recognition of her pro bono work.
