Akane Korenaga

Akane has worked as a legal assistant at the law firms Mori, Hamada & Matsumoto, Shearman & Sterling LLP, and Ropes & Gray LLP, and spent several years in-house, in the legal departments of Amazon Japan and the SoftBank Vision Fund. 

Fully bilingual, she also served at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spending two years as administrative assistant at the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver, Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology, linguistics, and international relations from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
