Joshua A. Rosefelt

Josh has represented clients across a range of technology fields in patent litigation matters in federal district court, before the U.S Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. International Trade Commission. He has also engaged in a range of pro bono work representing clients in D.C. Superior Court on housing matters and successfully obtaining relief for a client under the Second Look Amendment Act in partnership with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

Before joining the firm, Josh clerked for the Hon. Kara F. Stoll at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He earned his B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, magna cum laude, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School.

During law school, Josh served as a Lead Editor of the Stanford Technology Law Review and co-led the Stanford Non-Practicing Entity (NPE) Litigation Database.

Prior to law school, Josh was a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications related to surgical diagnostic equipment.

Josh is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
