Partner Megan Raymond spoke on a PTAB Bar Association panel titled “LEAP the Barriers to PTAB Oral Advocacy” on February 29, 2024. Hosted by the association’s Diversity, Industry, and Young Lawyers and Agents Committees, the panel explored the perspectives of administrative panel judges, in-house counsel, and case teams on how diverse and less experienced practitioners can attain more visibility and meaningful involvement in Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings.
Megan offered her insight as one of the top 50 women attorneys in PTAB trials, alongside Ryan Chowdhury, Associate at Fish & Richardson PC; Kalyan Deshpande, Acting Deputy Chief Judge at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; Kenneth Guerra, Associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP; Bryan Sinclair, Senior Director of Intellectual Property Litigation at Cisco; and Amanda Wieker, USPTO’s Acting Vice Chief Judge.
Megan was recently elected Vice President of the PTAB Bar Association.
