Groombridge, Wu, Baughman & Stone LLP founding partner Jennifer Wu has been appointed to the Advisory Council for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The advisory council was created by federal statute to serve as a conduit between the public and court, and to make recommendations regarding the Federal Circuit’s Rules of Practice and operating procedures of the court.
As of October 2024, the Advisory Council had 15 members, which included prominent practitioners; officials from government agencies including the U.S. International Trade Commission, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the Department of Justice; and a senior member of a corporate legal department. Jennifer’s term on the Advisory Council becomes effective on June 30, 2025 and lasts for three years.
