Nick represents clients in patent litigation matters, including matters involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices.  Nick has also represented clients across a range of pro bono matters, including assisting detained migrants and transgender youth.

Before joining the firm, Nick clerked for the Honorable Timothy B. Dyk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Nick received his J.D. with highest honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law.  During law school, Nick was a judicial extern for the Honorable James A. Wynn of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and participated in the Intellectual Property Law Clinic and the Critical Race Lawyering Civil Rights Law Clinic.  Nick received his B.A. with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received the Walter S. Spearman award.
