NEW YORK – April 2, 2024 – Groombridge, Wu, Baughman & Stone LLP is delighted to announce that it has elected three of its attorneys to partner, effective July 1st. Jennifer Rea Deneault, Daniel Klein, and Jenny Wu will expand the firm to nine partners in the United States and one in Tokyo, with women constituting half of the partnership.

All three of the firm’s new partners handle patent litigation matters from trial through appeal, in district courts, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. 

Jenna’s matters span the gamut from small molecules and biologics to software and hardware. She recently received the Rising Star award from the New York Law Journal, which “celebrates those attorneys who are making a difference in their field in the early stages of their careers and already leaving their marks.” She was also recently recognized in the inaugural edition of the Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, which recognizes lawyers “who have taken the industry by storm in recent years.” She is vice chair of the Patent Litigation Committee of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and co-chair of the Associate Advisory Committee of the New York IP Law Association. She was a law clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Schroeder III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and a judicial fellow for then-United States District Court Judge Leonard P. Stark and United States Magistrate Judge Christopher J. Burke in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Dan’s matters have involved small molecules, biologics, genomics and bioinformatics technologies, semiconductors, light-emitting diodes, software, and global positioning systems. Klein, too, was recently recognized in the inaugural edition of the Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation. He is a vice chair of the Rules Committee and a member of the Patent Appeals Subcommittee of the Federal Circuit Bar Association. He was also a law clerk for Judge Pauline Newman at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Jenny’s matters have involved a wide variety of technical areas, including mobile phone operating systems and software, online content management, web services, medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, GPS devices, LEDs, digital imaging, wearable fitness, financial services, and computer animation. She is chair of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice Committee and a vice-chair of the Mock Argument Committee of the Federal Circuit Bar Association. She also co-chaired the Litigation Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York from 2018-2024. She was also a law clerk for now-Chief Judge Kimberly A. Moore at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
